UNDERSTANDING RADIESSE® + HA BLEND

Know what is
in your treatment.

Our menu includes a Radiesse® + hyaluronic acid (HA) blend. Radiesse contains calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA); HA fillers use a different material. Combining them requires a specific discussion of why that approach is being proposed for you.

This is not presented as an FDA-approved combination product. Approval of individual fillers does not establish the safety or effectiveness of mixing them. Ask about the exact products, intended use, alternatives, and uncertainty associated with the proposed plan.

01

CaHA

Radiesse is a calcium hydroxylapatite filler with collagen-stimulating properties.

02

HA

Hyaluronic acid fillers add volume; their properties vary by product.

The combination

The proposed formulation, purpose, and total price are explained individually.

YOUR VISIT

A conversation first.
A decision together.

Thoughtful care starts with listening.

  1. Share your starting point.

Discuss your goals, medical history, medications, allergies, and any previous injectable treatments. Bring available product records.

  2. Understand the recommendation.

Katie explains the proposed approach, alternatives, recovery, limitations, and cost. Ask questions and take the time you need.

  3. Make an informed choice.

If treatment is appropriate and you choose to proceed, your provider reviews consent and the plan with you.

  4. Keep the conversation open.

Leave with tailored aftercare and a follow-up plan. Know how to contact the practice with concerns.

RECOVERY & FOLLOW-UP

Give the process
room to settle.

A combination plan needs its own recovery and follow-up guidance. Do not assume it behaves like HA filler alone. Ask which changes to expect and which symptoms need prompt assessment.

Possible risks include swelling, bruising, infection, lumps, and allergic reactions. Rare injection into a blood vessel can cause tissue loss, vision loss, or stroke.

Seek immediate medical attention for vision changes, severe or unusual pain, or pale, gray, or blue skin after filler. Trouble breathing or signs of a severe allergic reaction also require emergency care.

A LITTLE CLARITY

Your questions.
Thoughtful answers.

Is this the same as hyperdilute Radiesse?

No. This menu option includes HA filler. A hyperdilute Radiesse plan uses a different preparation and purpose. Review the proposed materials with Katie.

Can the whole blend be dissolved?

No simple reversal should be assumed. Hyaluronidase can act on HA, but it does not dissolve the CaHA component of Radiesse.

How much does it cost?

Pricing is confirmed after assessment of the materials and amount proposed. The facial-filler syringe price should not be assumed to cover this combination.

Can I choose a single-material option instead?

Yes. Ask about HA filler alone, a separate biostimulator plan, or no treatment. A combination is not necessary for everyone.
